Where US and Korea meet

I ran Sanofi Korea's hiring end to end as its only talent-acquisition support, and managed recruiting at Kiss Products in New York through a 40% staffing surge. I've led a team of 16 at an embassy festival in Morocco, and now I'm working on a Korean app being built for the US.

No sponsorship needed. Dual US and Korean citizen. Relocating to San Francisco and available from January 2027. Studying for the SHRM-CP.

Restructure and rebrand

2023–24Kiss Products, New YorkHR · Org design · Employer brand

For the move from a product-based to a brand-based structure, I benchmarked 5 firms and interviewed 45+ employees, found 23% overlap between roles, and organized the task force that carried the change. Alongside the restructure, we rebuilt Kiss Products' employer brand for HR, a major project of its own.

Hiring through a surge

2023–24Kiss Products, New YorkTalent acquisition · HR

Through a 40% staffing surge during a foreign-entity expansion, I coordinated 20+ interviews a week and wrote a fit report for every candidate. I built an automated candidate tracker that cut time-to-hire by 25%, and "demo candidate" profiles that cut hiring-decision time by 30%.

Hiring, start to offer

2025Sanofi Korea, SeoulTalent acquisition · HR

As the only talent-acquisition support, I ran Sanofi Korea's hiring end to end: candidate communication, interviews, offers. During the move to a Multi-Country Organization I worked with the ANZ teams, rebuilt templates, job descriptions and onboarding to the global framework, and turned global HR directives into plans that worked in Seoul.

Translating for the army

2021–22ROKA TRADOC, DaejeonTranslation · Analysis

As a military translator and analyst in the Overseas Material Support Division, I translated and analyzed 1,500+ articles on military technologies for strategic intelligence reports, produced 70+ weekly web newsletters, and analyzed 250+ documents from foreign liaison offices. At DX Korea 2022 I interpreted between the TRADOC commander and international stakeholders.

Project lead and operations manager for the Korean Embassy in Morocco's cultural festival, serving about 1,500 people a day. I led a team of 16, trained staff on protocol for every event zone, and ran site layout, infrastructure and on-the-day operations. The Ambassador wrote me a letter of recommendation.

Opening a film lab

2026–Eastman Film Lab, SeoulOperations · Brand

Head manager for a new lab in Jongno: develop and scan, film store, camera rental. I designed operations for about 50 rolls a day, with an order number that ties every roll to a digital order, built the brand identity and a commerce-first website, and produced Sunny 16, a ticketed vinyl session for 50 guests.

Bryan Kyutae Kim interprets between English and Korean where getting it wrong costs something: for the TRADOC commander at DX Korea 2022, for international patients through consultations and post-op care at Shin Medical, and across 1,500+ translated articles for newsletters read by 300,000+ military personnel.

I'm finishing a BA in International Studies at Kyung Hee University, spent spring 2026 on exchange at UM6P in Rabat, assisted Prof. G. John Ikenberry's summer course on international relations, and ran personnel for the Kyung Hee Model UN secretariat, where we built the first online MUN format during COVID-19.
